Dr. Vasileios Stergiou holds a Diploma in Mining and Metallurgical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and a Master’s Degree in Welding from Brunel University, London, UK. He completed his PhD dissertation at NTUA, in the School of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering, specializing in Welding Technology.

He has extensive experience with the Hellenic Aerospace Industry , where he served as a Head of Department and Welding Engineer in the Division of Special Processes and Materials Technology (Directorate of Studies, Research and Innovation), as well as in the Planning and Control of Aircraft Engine Maintenance Projects.

Dr. Stergiou has long-standing experience in the preparation of technical reports and material inspections for the aerospace, marine, and industrial sectors. He has participated in numerous seminars, training programs, and research projects in Greece and abroad, and has co-authored several scientific publications in the field of welding technology.
