Dr. Ioannis Kordatos is the General Director of the Hellenic Welding Company and HENC. He holds a Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and a Master’s Degree in Materials Science and Welding.

He has held senior management positions in both Greek and international companies. For 12 years, he served as a senior executive at the Skaramagas Shipyards, holding positions such as Welding Engineer, Quality Director, Technical Director, and Project Director. Since 2011, he has founded and managed the Hellenic Welding Company and HENC.

Dr. Kordatos has extensive experience in teaching at higher educational institutions in Greece, as well as in the industrial and maritime sectors, conducting numerous technical inspections and providing consulting services in quality management and control, production processes, ship repair technology, welding, and certified training in welding and materials science for major industries throughout the country.

He is also a Board Member of the Hellenic Society for Non-Destructive Testing (HSNT) and a member of WIMA (Welding Industry Manufacturers Association).
