Cellulosic Electrode

WELDING TRAINING PROGRAM USING CELLULOSE ELECTRODES (E6010–E7010–E8010)

The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) natural gas project is set to begin construction very soon.
The root pass welding of the pipelines will be carried out using the MMA (Manual Metal Arc) process with cellulose electrodes (E6010–E7010). Achieving a defect-free weld requires proper technique — which can only be acquired through proper training.

To meet the high demand that has arisen, the Hellenic Welding Company has launched a series of training programs focused on the correct use and technique of this specialized type of electrode.

Training is conducted by professional welders with extensive experience in the use of cellulose electrodes on projects with strict quality requirements.
The classes are strictly small-sized, ensuring personal attention for each participant.
The sessions are held at the fully equipped training facilities of the Hellenic Welding Company, which feature state-of-the-art welding machines ideal for working with cellulose electrodes.

The course consists of 30 training hours, of which 6 hours are theoretical and 24 are practical.
Participants receive printed training material, and upon completion they are awarded a Certificate of Attendance specifying the training content and duration.

At the end of the course, those who wish may proceed with welder certification according to ISO 9606, in MMA process, on the material and welding position of their choice.
